Contest begins March 15, 2012. Enter by visiting the AARS survey page, complete the online survey, once the survey is submitted you will automatically be entered into the contest. All entries must be received by midnight, July 3, 2012, the contest closing date. Hand written and/or mechanically reproduced entry forms will not be eligible. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
The British Columbia Automobile Association ("BCAA") (the sponsor) will not be responsible for or have any liability resulting from entries which are mutilated, delayed, lost, stolen or misdirected.
To enter the BCAA AARS online survey contest, individuals will be required to provide their first & last name, phone number and email address if available. "BCAA" (the sponsor) may collect certain personal, usage and purchase information in the entry process. All information collected by "BCAA" (the sponsor) for this contest is protected against unauthorized access. By using the entry website, all entrants consent to collection and use of this information by "BCAA" (the sponsor). PRIZE:
There are three (3) prizes available to be won. Each prize will consist of $50.00 in CAA dollars. Approximate retail value = $50.00 (CAD) each.
The prizes have no cash value and must be accepted as offered and cannot be exchanged, transferred, sold or added on to in any way. All decisions of the independent judging organization regarding this contest are final.
HOW TO WIN:
A random draw will be held by the independent judging organization on July 9, 2012 in Burnaby, B.C at BCAA Head Office, from all eligible entries received between March 15 and July 3, 2012. Chances of winning will be dependent upon the number of eligible entries received. The selected entrants will be notified by e-mail/phone within two weeks of the draw.
In order to win, the selected entrants each must first correctly answer a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question administered by mail, email or fax. Failure to correctly answer this question will mean that the selected entrant will be replaced by another contestant in another draw.
Before being declared a winner, the selected entrants each must first sign a Winner’s Affidavit & Release form, a Winner’s Agreement form and Publicity Release, agreeing to the use of his or her name, address (city only), photo, voice and/or statements without compensation other than the prize offered. Failure to sign any of these forms will result in the selected entrant being replaced by another contestant in another draw.
By entering the contest, all entrants agree to be bound by the rules of the contest. All decisions of "BCAA" (the sponsor) with respect to all aspects of this contest are final.
All permanent legal residents of B.C. and The Yukon are eligible to enter, providing they are over the age of majority on April 1, 2011, and providing that they are not also employees of "BCAA", the participating AARS centres, their advertising or promotional agencies, the independent judging organization or family members with whom these employees are domiciled.
"BCAA" (the sponsor) reserves the right to substitute another prize of equal or greater value if the prize offered becomes unavailable for any reason. If for any reason in the opinion of "BCAA" (the sponsor), in its sole discretion, the contest is not capable of running as planned or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the contest is corrupted or adversely affected, including by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or other causes beyond its control, "BCAA" (the sponsor) reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest including any method of entry.
"BCAA" (the sponsor) will not be responsible for telephone, technical, network, online, electronic. computer hardware or software failures of any kind, misdirected, stolen, incomplete, garbled or delayed Internet/e-mail computer transmissions on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participants or downloading any materials in this contest. Finally, "BCAA" (the sponsor) reserves the right to modify contest rules without materially affecting the terms and conditions of the contest.
Online entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to the e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g. business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
All entries become the property of "BCAA" (the sponsor). No correspondence will be entered into with any contestants except with the selected entrants. The contest is subject to all Federal, Provincial and Municipal regulations and is void where prohibited by law.
