The war in Ukraine has displaced many families from their home and BCAA, together with your help, can support families arriving to our province and enable them to feel safe, protected and connected. More than 11,000 Ukrainians have arrived in BC, with that number predicted to rise throughout 2024. Without a refugee status, Ukrainians don’t get the type of funding and support they need to seek safety and belonging in Canada and the need to find a safe place to live is great for these families fleeing from war. 

We want to do everything we can to help, so BCAA is partnering with the United Way British Columbia to temporarily amend BCAA Home Insurance policies for customers hosting families at no charge to ensure everyone is protected.
