BCAA Advocacy & Government Affairs

BCAA speaks for its members

Whether it’s promoting driver safety, home security, or better roads and highways – member advocacy is an important role for the British Columbia Automobile Association.

BCAA regularly seeks member input on issues that matter to members, and takes positions based on majority opinion and the principles of the association. We represent members’ interests to all levels of government, consulting with government officials on legislation, taxation and planning. We help raise awareness of critical issues by providing information and comment to the media. And, together with the BCAA Traffic Safety Foundation, we promote programs aimed at reducing the number and severity of traffic collisions on B.C. roads and highways.

If you’d like to share your views with us please email advocacy@bcaa.com.
