A message to British Columbians from BCAA.
BCAA started serving and protecting British Columbians in 1906 and our belief in the power of community continues today. Like you, I’m closely following the developments with COVID-19 and working with our team to continue serving you, protecting our communities and keeping British Columbians safe.
I wanted to check in to let you know what we’re doing to navigate the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation to be there for you while keeping everyone’s health and safety top of mind.
Service Location Closures
For the health and safety of our customers, employees, and the wider community, we’ve made the very difficult decision to close all our Service Locations as of March 19, 2020 until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause but please know that we are here to help you by phone 1-888-268-2222 or through our online tools at bcaa.com.
BCAA is equipped to offer ICBC auto insurance by phone. Please call us at 1-888-268-2222.
Roadside Assistance and BCAA Auto Service Centres
Our Roadside Assistance service continues to operate but with some adjustments to support social distancing for everyone’s safety and all our BCAA Auto Service Centres remain open.
If you have BCAA Travel Insurance, you might have questions about your coverage. Our Member Contact Centre team is fielding many calls and we’re working hard to connect with all our Members and customers as quickly as possible. To learn more about COVID-19 and your BCAA Travel Insurance coverage, visit bcaa.com/coronavirus or call us at 1-888-268-2222.
Evo Car Share
As BC’s only one-way car sharing service, Evo continues to operate. We’ve stepped up cleaning and sanitizing all Evo cars and have temporarily closed the Evo retail location in Vancouver. Evo Members can get in touch with us at 1-844-EVO-2EVO or firstname.lastname@example.org.
BCAA employee health & safety
Keeping our employees safe and healthy is a top priority. All our employees who can work from home are doing so, with our support.
The news is unsettling, but please know that BCAA is here to help. And, while that help might come through a phone call, email or through our online resources, we’re committed to be there for you. I’ll continue to keep you updated through bcaa.com.
Stay safe and healthy,
President & CEO, BCAA
