Official Contest Rules and Regulations
WHO CAN ENTER:
Contest is open to residents of British Columbia who have reached the age of majority by March 14, 2018, excluding employees of British Columbia Automobile Association ("BCAA"), its advertising and promotional agencies and family members with whom these employees are domiciled, and employees of Cirque du Soleil and its affiliates.
No purchase necessary. The "Cirque du Soleil Prize" contest (the “Contest”) begins at 12:00AM on March 14, 2018. To be entered into the Contest, visit www.facebook.com/BCAA and like and comment on the post promoting the Cirque du Soleil prize (collectively referred to as the “entry” or “Ballot”). Applicants can opt out of the contest by advising a BCAA agent or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
To be eligible for Contest entry, all online entries must be received by 11:59 pm Pacific Time March 29, 2018, the “Contest Closing Date”. LIMIT one entry per person.
Entry will be completed online at www.facebook.com/BCAA.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Eligible entrants may complete their one (1) Contest entry by visiting www.facebook.com/BCAA and liking and commenting on the post promoting the “Cirque du Soleil Prize” contest.
BCAA will not be responsible for or have any liability resulting from entries which are mutilated, delayed, lost, stolen or misdirected.
LIMIT one entry per person
Four (4) Category 2 tickets for a Thursday Cirque du Soleil Crystal show in Abbotsford, Penticton or Prince George during the posted show dates. (the “Prize”).
Prize(s) must be accepted as offered and cannot be exchanged, transferred, substituted or added on to in any way. BCAA reserves the right to substitute other prizes of equal or greater value if any of the prizes offered becomes unavailable for any reason.
HOW TO WIN:
A random draw will be held at BCAA’s Home Office on March 30, 2018 to select one (1) potential winner of the Prize.
Chances of winning will be dependent upon the number of eligible Ballots received at www.facebook.com/BCAA by the Contest Closing Date. The selected entrants will be notified by Facebook Message. If, for any reason, after 3 attempts it is not possible within a 48-hour period to contact a selected entrant(s) despite customary diligent efforts, BCAA and its agents reserve the right to disqualify that entrant(s) and randomly select another entrant(s) for the corresponding prize.
Before being declared a winner, each selected entrant must first sign a Winner’s Affidavit & Liability/Publicity Release form, agreeing to the use of his or her name, address (city only), photo, voice and/or statements without compensation other than the prize offered, and must correctly have answered a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question that is located on the Ballot entry. Failure to sign these forms will result in the selected entrant being disqualified. Failure to correctly answer a skill-testing question will mean that the selected entrant will be disqualified.
By entering the Contest, all entrants agree to be bound by these Official Contest Rules. All decisions of BCAA with respect to all aspects of this contest are final. All residents of British Columbia are eligible to win, providing they are over the age of majority on March 14, 2018, and providing that they are not employees of BCAA, or their advertising or promotional agencies or family members with whom these employees are domiciled, or employees of Cirque de Soleil and its affiliates.
If for any reason in the opinion of BCAA, in its sole discretion and without notice, the contest is not capable of running as planned or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the contest is corrupted or adversely affected, including by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, errors or other causes beyond its control, BCAA reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest including any method of entry.
BCAA is not be responsible for telephone, technical, network, online, electronic, computer hardware or software failures of any kind, misdirected, stolen, incomplete, garbled or delayed Internet/e-mail computer transmissions on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participants or downloading any materials in this contest. Finally, BCAA reserves the right to modify these Official Contest Rules at our sole discretion and without notice.
This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook. Each entrant and its Members unconditionally and irrevocably release Facebook from any damage, loss, claim, action, demand or liability whatsoever suffered as a result of or arising from the entrant’s participation or attempted participation in the Contest, compliance or non-compliance with these Official Contest Rules, and acceptance, use, misuse or redemption of any prize. Any and all questions, comments or complaints regarding the Contest must be directed only to BCAA and not to Facebook.
All Ballots become the property of BCAA. No correspondence will be entered into with any contestants except with the selected entrants. The contest is subject to all Federal, Provincial and Municipal regulations and is void where prohibited by law. These Official Contest Rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of British Columbia.
