David brings extensive executive leadership experience to his role, having previously served as President and CEO of the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia, the province\u0027s provider of mandatory auto insurance for all drivers. Prior to that, he held several roles at BC Hydro, the latest being Executive Vice-President, Finance, Technology, Supply Chain \u0026amp; Chief Financial Officer (CFO). David also held senior financial roles at Teekay Corporation, including CFO of Teekay Offshore Partners Ltd. David spent 1998 through 2008 with Powerex, focusing on risk management and finance, culminating in his appointment as CFO.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn addition to his executive roles, David\u0026rsquo;s Board work includes serving on Vancity Credit Union\u0026rsquo;s Board of Directors as the Audit Committee Chair, Powertech Labs as Finance Committee Chair, and he also served previously on the BC Automobile Association\u0027s\u0026nbsp; Board of Directors. David holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, is a Chartered Professional Accountant, and is an accredited corporate director.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDavid is serving his first term on the BCAA board.
