April 14, 2022 or later — Policy Wording
  • Coverage still includes $1,000,000 or $10,000,000 in coverage for COVID-19 emergency medical coverage, depending on your vaccine status and eligibility*, however booster(s) are no longer required for you to be considered fully vaccinated.
February 18, 2022 - April 13, 2022 — Policy Wording
  • Travel Delay & COVID-19 Quarantine coverage is available as an Optional Coverage or included in the Trip Protection Package. It provides coverage for unplanned commercial accommodation, meals and internet costs if you, your family member or traveling companion test positive for COVID-19 and are ordered to quarantine.
August 13, 2021 - February 17, 2022 — Policy Wording
  • Coverage includes COVID-19 emergency medical for eligible customers, including Visitors to Canada, depending on your vaccine status. Coverage limit varies by product. Review your policy wording to learn more.

*$10,000,000 CAD COVID-19 medical coverage limit applies if you have been fully vaccinated (administered with at least two doses of a Health Canada-approved COVID-19 vaccine) and up to $1,000,000 CAD if you have been administered one dose. Dose(s) must be administered 14-days or more prior to departure. Coverage provided at no additional cost with the purchase of a BCAA Travel Emergency Medical Insurance policy. Children under the age of 18 are covered regardless of their vaccine status.
