BCAA Bike Assist Program

BCAA’s Famous Roadside Assistance—Now Available for Cyclists

Introducing BCAA Bike Assist, an innovative roadside bike service, offered for the first time in BC by BCAA. If you use your bike* to commute to work or school—or even if you’re just out for a leisurely ride, Bike Assist offers you the same peace of mind our Road Assist offers drivers.

The best part of Bike Assist is that it’s all included in your current membership. So if you want to lead a greener, more active lifestyle, you can do so knowing BCAA is here to help when you need us.

Here's How Bike Assist Works

Bike Assist works very much like BCAA’s Emergency Road Assist service for vehicles. If you’re biking and find yourself with a flat tire, broken chain or worse, just give us a call and we’ll send a technician over to help you and your bike. We’ll do our best to repair your bike on the spot, but if this can’t be done, we’ll tow you and your bicycle up to a distance based on your current level of BCAA Membership.

And just like our Road Assist service, we’re available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Each service call counts as one Road Assist call. You’re allotted a certain number of calls and a towing distance based on your level of membership. For example, if you’re a CAA Plus member, you can make up to six calls, and can be towed up to 160km per tow free of charge.

This table compares the Bike Assist benefit by membership level:
