Are you purchasing this policy before arriving in Canada or within 60 days of arriving in Canada?
If the policy is purchased prior to arrival in Canada, there is no waiting period on sickness. If the policy is purchased within 60 days of your/visitor's arrival in Canada, you/visitor understand there will be no coverage for any sickness or symptoms within 48 hours of the effective date. If the policy is purchased 61 days or more after your/visitor's arrival in Canada, you/visitor understand that there will be no coverage for sickness or symptoms within 7 days of the effective date.
Have you been diagnosed with a terminal condition, are currently in palliative care or have received a recommendation to enter palliative care?
To be eligible for this insurance you/visitor confirm that you/visitor have not been diagnosed with a terminal condition, currently not receiving palliative care and no palliative care has been recommended.
