The Build green coverage (Build Green rider) is discontinued. BCAA Insurance Corporation will continue to honour existing policy holders that maintain continuous coverage, but will not issue new coverage.

Use the Build green coverage (Build Green Rider) to cover the costs of rebuilding or repairing a home using “green” materials or appliances.

Eligibility

Members and Non-Members are eligible for this coverage.

Coverage

This coverage provides up to $30,000 to replace lost or damaged property with “green” items.

Total loss

An Insured can apply $30,000 towards replacing their entire home with “green” materials or energy efficient items.

Partial loss

In a partial loss, an Insured can replace “green” items that were destroyed with similar “green” items.
