If a policy is purchased more than 72 hours after the transportation and/or commercial accommodations are booked, there is no coverage for sickness or death (other than death caused by a sudden, unexpected incident) occurring within 72 hours after the purchase of the policy.

Any pre-existing condition affecting the traveller or their immediate family member(s), caregiver, friend, business partner, host at final destination, employer or key employee, with be excluded unless the pre-existing condition was stable. For details please refer to the policy wording.
