We’ve improved key areas of your coverage to provide more protection, higher limits and bigger savings. These enhancements are automatically included for eligible policies – so you get added value without needing to make changes.

The following coverage enhancements apply to renewals starting April 11, 2026.

Car & Home Bundle Discount

Customers save more when they bundle their BCAA Optional Car and Home Insurance.

Tire Pothole & Puncture Protection

This included benefit helps cover the cost to repair or replace a tire damaged by potholes or punctures.

- Tire repair: up to $25
- Tire replacement: $25 labour costs		 - Tire repair: up to $75
- Tire replacement: $75 labour costs

Pet Coverage

This included benefit helps cover veterinary expenses if your pet is hurt in a car accident.

$1,000/occurrence $1,500/occurrence

Vehicle Loss of Use Due to Theft

If you’ve purchased comprehensive coverage, this benefit helps cover the cost of a rental vehicle or other transportation if your vehicle is stolen.

 $900/occurrence ($50/day) $1,000/occurrence ($100/day)

Rental Vehicle During a Claim

This optional coverage helps cover the cost of a rental vehicle or other transportation while your vehicle is getting repaired.

$1,500/occurrence $2,000/occurrence

Personal Property Coverage

This optional coverage helps cover the cost to replace personal items stolen from your vehicle.

Rental Vehicle Loss of Use

If you’ve purchased Rental Vehicle Insurance and your rental vehicle has been damaged, this coverage helps cover the cost of renting a replacement vehicle.
