Sure, there may be a lot on your to-do list, but we invite you to have fun while you’re getting it all done . Here are simple ways you can get outdoors, spend time with loved ones, and get into the holiday spirit by eating, drinking, and being merry while saving with your BCAA Membership.

Glow On! Light Shows to Spark Your Holiday Spirit

Visit a lights festival and see magical wonderlands of bright lights, seasonal treats, and stunning views, all around BC. Here are five of our favourites:

    November 28 to January 4
    15 acres adorned with over 1 million twinkling lights
    Get in the holiday spirit with the annual Dancing Lights display, explore themed light areas, and enjoy three unique Dancing Lights sets, with a show every 20 minutes.
  3. Lights at Lafarge
    Lafarge Lake, Coquitlam, BC
    November 28 through February 2026
    Metro Vancouver’s largest FREE outdoor winter lights display features over 100,000 Christmas lights and festive displays around Coquitlam’s Lafarge Lake at night.
  4. Bright Nights
    Cloverdale Fairgrounds, Surrey, BC
    November 28 to December 28
    At this brand-new lights festival, millions of lights will shine bright this winter at Noel Surrey and the Cloverdale Fairgrounds. The festival features a large light display, a Noel Village with seasonal photos and live music, and a holiday market, with all proceeds supporting the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund.
  5. Vallea Lumina
    Whistler, BC
    December 2025 to April 2026
    A lovely, multimedia night walk through an enchanted forest in pursuit of hidden wonders.

Orchestral Movie Nights at the VSO

Vancouver, BC

Nothing says holiday magic like watching your favourite seasonal movies come to life with a full symphony orchestra. Each year, the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra hosts special Movie Nights with the VSO, where they perform the score live as timeless films like Home Alone, The Holiday and Elf play on the big screen. It’s an unforgettable way to experience the season’s nostalgia, music, and classic films all at once.
