The war in Ukraine has displaced many families from their home and BCAA, together with your help, can support families arriving to our province and enable them to feel safe, protected and connected. To-date, approximately 4,500 Ukrainians have arrived in BC, with that number projected to be between 10,000-15,000 by the end of the year. Without a refugee status, Ukrainians don’t get the type of funding and support they need to seek safety and belonging in Canada and the need to find a safe place to live is great for these families fleeing from war.
We want to do everything we can to help, so BCAA is partnering with the United Way British Columbia to provide information sessions for hosting families as well as temporarily amending BCAA Home Insurance customer’s policies at no charge to ensure everyone is protected.
