Dream holiday goes awry but BCAA covers over $100,000 in medical bills

While vacationing in Hawaii, my parents, Harold and Bertha, had a serious car accident. After several days in the hospital with numerous broken bones, my mother was flown home to Vancouver utilizing a stretcher and three airline seats.

Without the travel emergency medical coverage they had taken out with BCAA, along with their auto insurance, the financial cost to our family would have been devastating.

BCAA coordinated with BC medical services to ensure the medical bills, in excess of $100,000, were settled. BCAA also took over communications with the hospital and doctors in Hawaii, taking another burden off my shoulders.

I’m eternally grateful that my parents had the coverage and amazing support of BCAA.
