Flight delays hit, but BCAA Travel Insurance was right on time

My wife and I purchased Travel Delay +AutoPay from BCAA for our extensive trip overseas. We never imagined that within a couple of hours of our first flight, we’d already be reimbursed for a trip delay! It was an eye‑opening reminder of how valuable this travel insurance coverage truly is.

When we were first notified of the delay, we assumed it would be about 30 minutes. As the time stretched to an hour, then an hour and a half, we found ourselves hoping it would reach the two‑hour mark so we could qualify for reimbursement. Almost to the second, at the two‑hour mark, we received a notification from BCAA confirming they were aware of the delay and had issued the set amount from our BCAA Travel Insurance policy. The service was amazing, and the reimbursement allowed us to enjoy some food while we waited for our flight.

Thanks to BCAA, we were relieved that we didn’t need to make any further claims, as the rest of our trip went smoothly. We’re very glad we had the insurance, it proved its worth right from the start.
