When life locks you out, make your own picnic!

We were out shopping and heading back to the car. I opened the trunk to load our groceries, set the keys down inside—and then closed it. Clink! That dreaded sound you never want to hear.

After getting over the embarrassment of what we’d just done, we called BCAA. They said they would be there shortly and to sit tight. So, we thought, “Okay, how can we turn these lemons into lemonade?”

I walked down to a store nearby, picked up some cheese and crackers and set up a picnic right on the hood of the car. There we were, in the middle of the parking lot, just getting started when our hero from BCAA showed up to save the day.

They had a good laugh at our story and loved that we turned the situation into a picnic. We’re so grateful to have BCAA. And now? I carry an extra set of keys in my purse.
