When hydroplaning happens

I had to call BCAA on the weekend driving back from Campbell River. Had a VERY scary incident on the highway. Hit a patch of water at 110 KM/H, lost control and hydroplaned off the highway, spun around backwards, and proceeded into a 10’ ditch and then into the bushes/trees. Missed a big tree by about 3 feet thankfully. Amazed I was still alive and the car still upright, I called BCAA who sent a tow truck to get me out. SO Glad I had you guys on my side!!! No injuries sustained, but a new appreciation for slick roads! Pics attached.
