Hook, line and tow-er: BCAA saves the trip

The drive home from Prince Rupert was supposed to be straightforward. We were hauling our 34‑foot ocean boat behind our truck, heading south toward Williams Lake, when our truck suddenly quit just outside Burns Lake. With the road at a standstill, we called BCAA.

About an hour later, help arrived. And not just one vehicle, but two! One BCAA truck was there to load our pickup truck and another to safely tow our boat. From the moment they showed up, the BCAA team was friendly, calm and incredibly helpful. Exactly what you hope for when you’re far from home.

Thanks to our BCAA Plus RV Membership, BCAA was able to take us all the way to Prince George, where we could stay with our kids. After fixing our truck in Prince George, we were able to drive the rest of the way home without issues.

Looking back, it’s hard not to imagine how stressful (and expensive!) this situation could have been without a BCAA Membership. Instead, we felt taken care of every step of the way.
