Evolve E-Bike Share and Wiebe Properties Bring Shared E-Bike Program to Abbotsford

Shared Evolve E-Bikes available at six parking zones across Abbotsford.

Abbotsford, BC, June 23, 2026 – BCAA’s Evolve E-Bike Share is expanding into Abbotsford through an innovative new partnership with Wiebe Properties, offering locals an active, convenient way to get around.

With funding from Wiebe Properties, 20 Evolve E-Bikes are available at six designated parking zones. While hosted by Wiebe, the bikes will be available for both residents and the public 24/7, with all trips beginning and ending at any of the designated parking zones.

“We have deep roots in Abbotsford, and we’ve been hearing from locals that having more ways to get around for work, shopping and exploring outdoors would help create a more connected, active community,” says Lara Holtby of Wiebe Properties. “We’re excited to deliver on that with Evolve and make shared e-bikes available for everyone in Abbotsford.”

The Abbotsford program is designed primarily to serve residents living at participating properties, while also supporting visitors and the wider community with an easy and convenient way to travel for short trips.

“BCAA built Evolve for BC communities and we’re so happy to come to Abbotsford with an easy way for residents and the public to get around this growing community,” says Leanne Buhler, Head of Evolve. “Our partnership with Wiebe Properties shows how we can work creatively with local partners to expand access to affordable, flexible ways to get around.”
