Evolve E-Bike Share Expands to West Vancouver
E-bikes available from 16 parking stations across the District
West Vancouver, BC, February 13, 2026 – The District of West Vancouver joins the City of North Vancouver, District of North Vancouver, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation), and səl̓ílwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh Nation) in welcoming BCAA’s Evolve E-Bike Share as the new operator for the North Shore E-bike Share Program. Evolve’s expansion to West Vancouver offers a convenient and flexible way for locals and visitors to get to work, run errands and explore more of the North Shore.
Evolve E-Bikes are available at stations throughout West Vancouver, including Ambleside Park, West Vancouver Aquatic Centre and Dundarave, with more parking stations and additional e-bikes being added through April 2026. Once fully rolled out, there will be over 300 Evolve E-Bikes and over 130 Evolve parking zones on the North Shore.
“Evolve E-Bike Share is a welcome addition to West Vancouver and will be an important contributor to many of our goals, including environmental interests, sustainability, and encouraging residents to be physically active in our vibrant community. It is a wonderful option that will help connect people to local businesses and other experiences without needing to get into a vehicle,” says West Vancouver Mayor Mark Sager.
West Vancouver’s E-Bike Share Program provides a cost-effective alternative to single car trips and supports West Vancouver’s Community Energy and Emissions Plan (CEEP), which recommended implementing bike share as one measure to help reduce energy emissions.
“Our Evolve team is thrilled to offer locals and visitors in West Van an easy, fun way to move around and explore even more of the North Shore, whether that’s visiting local shops and neighbourhoods, getting to and from work, or just spending time outdoors” says Leanne Buhler, Head of Evolve E-Bike & E-Scooter Share. “We’re proud to continue BCAA’s support for the District of West Vancouver’s leading role in delivering more options beyond personal car travel.”
