Did you know as a BCAA Member, you are part of an initiative that is getting thousands of British Columbians vaccinated who otherwise may not have had a chance to get the shot? Recently, BCAA, in partnership with BC Provincial Health, helped people get immunized in small BC towns and remote communities where healthcare can be hard to reach.

Moving quickly, we turned our BCAA Mobile Response Units (MRUs), normally used for disaster relief, into mobile immunization clinics. Partnering with the Interior Health Authority, our Mobile Response Units  have been travelling throughout the Interior Health region. Our shared mission: get as many people vaccinated as possible, as quickly as possible.

In all, our MRUs will deliver vaccines in over 40 hard-to-reach BC communities in the Interior, Okanagan and Kootenays vaccinating thousands of British Columbians …and we couldn’t be happier to help. Your BCAA Membership makes it possible for BCAA to support BC’s recovery efforts and protect British Columbians in all communities.
