Serving our BCAA Members and customers safely during the COVID-19 pandemic has meant a few adjustments to our usual service, but our focus continues to be on keeping you, our teams and our communities safe. While we miss having a store bustling with people, we can only welcome a limited number of customers and Members into our locations at one time. So, we have continued to evolve our service to create new time-saving options for doing business with us.

We can now help you online or by phone (1.888.268.2222) with all your BCAA Insurance and Membership needs, including ICBC Autoplan. If you do need to visit us in person, we ask that you pre-book an appointment – this helps us safely manage capacity in our Service Locations and prevent line-ups.

For all your auto maintenance and repair needs at our BCAA Auto Service Centres throughout BC, you can continue to book your service appointment at bcaa.com/bookauto or call 1.888.268.2222.

How to do business with us online or by phone

ICBC Autoplan & BCAA Optional Car Insurance
You can now purchase, renew or make changes to your ICBC Autoplan car insurance by phone from anywhere – it's easy. We’ve put together these tips to help your transaction go smoothly. (Note: you will need access to email during the call). Your new policy will be in effect as soon as the transaction is complete, and your decal and documents will be mailed to you. If you’re not able to renew by phone, you can pre-book an appointment at your local BCAA Service Location.
It’s also important to note that with ICBC’s changes going live on May 1, wait times might be a little longer than usual. We recommend giving us a call or booking an appointment as soon as you get your renewal notice to give yourself extra time. Learn more about the changes at icbc.com/enhancedcare.

Travel insurance

Membership
You can renew, buy or manage your Membership online quickly, but if you need to speak with a team member please contact us by phone.

Tip: Experiencing longer wait times over the phone? Our highest call volumes are in the mornings, on Mondays and after long weekends. The best time to call is in the afternoon or later in the week.

How to pre-book an appointment

If doing business with us online or over the phone isn’t possible, you can pre-book an in-person appointment at your local BCAA Service Location.

To book an appointment for your BCAA Insurance and Membership needs online, go to bcaa.com/contact and scroll down to choose your preferred location. If you’re not able to book online, you can call your location directly to book an appointment (once connected, press #5). 

Visiting us in person – safety first

If you do have an in-person appointment, please know that we have several safety measures in place at our locations, including sanitizing stations, plexiglass shields and maximum occupancy limits. We also require everyone who visits us in person to wear a face mask as directed by the Provincial Health Officer, and for your safety and ours, we prefer paperless payments such as a debit or credit card.
