Whether you’re buying or selling a used car, our Pre-Purchase Vehicle Inspection offers a comprehensive 199-point mechanical and system performance examination. Once completed, our report will rate the vehicle through a stoplight legend and shows an overall assessment. Plus, you’ll get a good idea if there's anything that needs to be repaired soon.

Cost 

The process covers the vehicle's body, electrical system, engine, warning lights, cooling system, steering and suspension, fuel system, exhaust system, wheels, tires, brakes and a road test.

$249.95 ^{+ tax  for cars and trucks. Rates vary for dual wheel trucks.} 

Our Safety Inspection is a 99-point process that checks the safety-related parts and systems of your vehicle. A safety inspection is a good way to complement your routine vehicle maintenance.

This is for you if:

  You are going on a road trip

   You're using your vehicle again after a long period of non-use

   You want to be proactive about vehicle maintenance

Cost 

The Safety Inspection covers the brakes, tires, seat belts, warning lights and other systems that are critical to your car's safety. This inspection helps ensure that your car is road ready.

$155 ^{+ tax}

Out of Province Inspection is a BC government-required test for used vehicles coming into British Columbia from another province. All BCAA Auto Service Centres are designated inspection facilities.
