Going "above and beyond all expectations"
Saturday, July 29, 2016--9 a.m., ----I was rushing to leave to help out my daughter who had 2 days earlier delivered a 5 week premie baby boy, and I was needed to care for my 2 year old grand-daughter so Dad could visit Mom in hospital. I had a quick shower, and went to throw a load of laundry in before I left. As I entered the laundry room it took a moment to register what was happening---water on the dryer, then drip, drip coming faster, then a gush of water coming from the ceiling. Yes I had a problem!!! I didn't know whether to call my husband who was golfing, my son-in-law who was waiting for me, or my BCAA agent. I opted for the BCAA agent!! We have had BCAA for many years, never had a claim, and I wasn't sure what to expect, especially on a Saturday morning. Within a few minutes my BCAA Adjuster was back to me assuring me all would be taken care of and quickly---soon I had a call from one of BCAA’s Preferred Contractors, Canstar Restorations, and before long fans were on full speed in both upstairs ensuite and laundry room below (a shower diverter valve had been leaking for some time before finally letting go--damage to both rooms as a result). I was told a plan of action, assured it would all be looked after, and shortly after noon I was on my way as planned.
I was not sure what to expect when we made the call, and everyone we encountered was very kind, professional, and everything was done to our extreme satisfaction. I didn't know what to expect---and all expectations were surpassed many times over. We couldn't recommend a better insurance company to deal with!!!
