How Rita avoided a $750 fix

driver with broken down car on call with roadside assistance

I requested towing service one day as my 12-year-old car would not start. I had tried to jump start it with cables without success. I was told by a friend that it was the alternator or the starter but either of these options would cost around $750. I was absolutely dreading towing the car to the mechanic.

Soon Pete came with his BCAA tow truck. After patiently listening to my story, Pete opened the hood and started troubleshooting. We let the battery charge for few minutes and tried a few attempts of restarting the car. I was completely taken aback when the car started. I wanted to give Pete a big HUG as he just saved me a tow, an assessment fee at a mechanic shop and potentially up to $750!!!

Pete was able to maintain his composure and has a very calming effect on crazy customers like me. Thank-you for making my first experience with BCAA Roadside Assistance exceptionally good!
