Forward-Facing Car Seats
Keep your child in a rear-facing child car seat until they outgrow the weight or height limit of the seat. Once your child is in a forward-facing seat, keep them harnessed until they outgrow the seat’s weight or height limit.
Types of Forward Facing Child Car Seats
Forward-facing child car seats have weight and height limits that vary depending on the make, model and type. Choose a rear-facing child car seat that:
- Fits securely in your vehicle
- Is appropriate for your child's weight and height
Remember:
- Always follow your child car seat instructions and vehicle owner’s manual
- Attach the top tether strap to the tether anchor
