Booster Seats

Avoid moving your child to a booster seat too soon. It is recommended children stay in a forward-facing car seat with harness straps until they reach the manufacturer’s weight limit. A booster seat should correctly position the vehicle seat belt over the child’s shoulder, across the chest and hips.

Types of Booster Seats

Keep your child in a booster seat until they are at least 9 years old or have reached the height of 145cm (4'9"). Booster seats have weight limits that vary depending on the make, model and type. Choose one that fits securely in your vehicle and is appropriate for your child's weight and height.
